Job Overview – Financial Planning Analyst:
Compensation: $65,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Financial Planning Analyst in Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid) on behalf of our client. In this role, you will support portfolio monitoring and asset allocation updates, conduct due diligence on mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, and separate accounts, and assist with tax preparation and client meeting deliverables. You will also handle money movement, account administration, and CRM management while leveraging Tamarac, eMoney, and Zephyr to enhance reporting and advisory services.

Responsibilities as the Financial Planning Analyst:

  • Portfolio Reporting: Compile monthly and quarterly reports on portfolio performance and update client asset allocations.
  • Investment Due Diligence: Research and analyze mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, and separate account managers.
  • Client Support: Prepare materials for client meetings, including tax projections and financial planning updates.
  • Tax Preparation: Assist with preparing and reviewing select client income tax returns (Forms 1040, etc.).
  • Operational Support: Handle money movement, account setup, portfolio updates, CRM management, and ad hoc projects.

Qualifications for the Financial Planning Analyst:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
  • Certification: CFP or CFA designation preferred (or currently pursuing).
  • Experience: Up to 3 years of financial planning, investment advisory, or related experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with preferred experience in Tamarac, eMoney, Zephyr, or Portfolio Center.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong interest in investment advisory, wealth management, and financial planning services.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities while remaining reliable, proactive, and deadline-driven.
