Compensation: $135,000 – $170,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Lead operational workflows as a Credit & Loan Operations Manager with our client in New York, NY (Hybrid). In this role, you will manage trade processing, settlements, and cash movements for private credit portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. You’ll coordinate across portfolio management, finance, legal, and compliance teams, implement process enhancements, oversee reconciliations, and guide junior staff development. This position is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in loan operations, credit market transactions, and structured finance.

Responsibilities as the Credit & Loan Operations Manager:

  • Deal Execution: Manage end-to-end deal processes for privately held assets, including wire processing, FX hedging, KYC, bank account openings, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Pipeline & Cash Management: Track the direct lending pipeline, manage cash positions, and oversee financing lines across fund structures.
  • Settlement & Trade Processing: Oversee trade capture in Broadridge Sentry, review funds flows and legal documentation, and manage settlement for trades and transfers.
  • Risk & Reconciliation Oversight: Partner with finance and treasury to hedge currency exposure and resolve reconciliation breaks across entities.
  • Process & Reporting: Drive process improvements, enhance operational systems, and prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop junior operations team members to build skills and performance.

Qualifications for the Credit & Loan Operations Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in credit operations, loan operations, or ABS/CLO operations, with proven ability to manage the full deal lifecycle from origination to settlement.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in trade capture systems (Broadridge Sentry preferred), Excel, and Microsoft Office, with knowledge of FX hedging and reconciliations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of private credit, structured products, syndicated loans, and fund structures.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and lead team members effectively.
