Job Overview – FP&A Manager:
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Gloucester County, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting as an FP&A Manager with our client in Gloucester County, NJ (Hybrid). Collaborate with accounting, sales, and operations to align forecasts with actuals, deliver variance analysis, and provide performance insights for strategic decision-making. Leverage Kinetic ERP and Power BI to create real-time reports, standardize processes, and enhance reporting automation in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Responsibilities as the FP&A Manager:

  • Forecasting & Variance Analysis: Partner with accounting, sales, and operations to align forecasts with actuals and deliver post-closing variance reports.
  • Management Reporting: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support timely business decisions.
  • Standardization & Automation: Streamline and automate reporting processes for cash management, lender updates, and external stakeholders using ERP and related systems.
  • Strategic Support: Support the Controller and CFO with monthly close, annual audits, operating plans, and Board presentations.
  • Operational Analysis: Analyze inventory, freight, warehouse productivity, and operating costs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Technology Integration: Use Power BI and Kinetic ERP to deliver single-source reporting and lead finance efforts in ERP evaluation and integration.

Qualifications for the FP&A Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in FP&A or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or distribution, with background in M&A, capital expenditure analysis, and business integrations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (Kinetic or similar), Power BI, and financial reporting tools, with preferred experience in data management and system integration.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing and distribution operations, including cost analysis, inventory management, and operational productivity metrics.
  • Skills & Attributes: Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-deadline environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
