Job Overview – Senior Financial Business Analyst:
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Lead strategic financial analysis and performance optimization as a Senior Financial Business Analyst with our client in Montgomery County, PA. This hybrid role partners with executive leadership to develop financial models, data visualizations, and insights that drive decision-making. Key areas include budget forecasting, cost analysis, M&A evaluation, capital markets support, and Board reporting, using tools such as SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and BI platforms to improve efficiency and support growth.

Responsibilities as the Senior Financial Business Analyst:

  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop budget models, metrics, and forecasting tools to enhance business performance.
  • Data Analytics & Visualization: Use BI tools and dashboards to create data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Executive & Board Reporting: Prepare Board materials, lead analytics discussions, and deliver high-level finance presentations.
  • Operational & Strategic Analysis: Evaluate operational costs, M&A opportunities, and legislative initiatives for efficiency and impact.
  • Capital Markets Support: Contribute to debt and equity offerings, credit facilities, and related financing activities.
  • Training & Process Improvement: Develop initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve efficiency across finance teams.

Qualifications for the Senior Financial Business Analyst:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a technical discipline required (MBA preferred).
  • Certification: CFA strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in finance, accounting, engineering, or analyst roles, preferably in a complex corporate or regulated industry environment.
  • Technical Skills: Expert in Excel with proficiency in SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BI platforms, and ERP systems.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with capital markets transactions, financial planning, and operational cost analysis.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and collaborate with integrity and adaptability.
