Job Overview – Investment Operations Analyst (Hedge Fund):
Compensation: $85,000 – $115,000/year + bonus

Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Operations Analyst to join our client’s hedge fund team in Stamford, CT. In this front-to-back operations role, you’ll handle trade processing, reconciliations, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting. You’ll manage data flow across prime brokers, fund admins, and internal systems to ensure accuracy in portfolio accounting, trade settlements, and daily P&L. Ideal for candidates with strong knowledge of securities, derivatives, and financial instruments.
Responsibilities as the Investment Operations Analyst:
- Reconciliation & P&L: Perform daily reconciliations of cash, trades, positions, and P&L, ensuring timely break resolution and distribution of daily books to internal teams.
- Trade Settlement & Processing: Manage global trade settlements and ensure straight-through-processing across systems and counterparties.
- Corporate Actions & Compliance: Process corporate actions, support proxy voting, and liaise with Compliance on voluntary events.
- Reporting & Valuations: Generate fund-level reports (margin, FX, stock loan) and support daily pricing and valuation updates.
- Security Master & Investment Data: Maintain security master records, FAS 157 levels, and investment tagging across systems.
- Fund & Regulatory Support: Resolve fund admin queries, assist with regulatory filings (Form PF, AIFMD, 13F/G/H), and support KYC/documentation.
Qualifications for the Investment Operations Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in fund operations, ideally at a hedge fund or asset management firm.
- Technical Skills: Skilled in portfolio accounting systems (Geneva, Enfusion), order management platforms, and advanced Excel functions including pivot tables and lookups.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, derivatives, bank debt, and global settlement processes.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced trading environment.
