Job Overview – Senior Financial Reporting Accountant:
Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000/year
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Take on a pivotal role as a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant with our client in Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid). In this cross-functional position, you’ll oversee monthly close, consolidations, and financial reporting under IFRS standards. You’ll collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, and regional finance teams, leveraging tools like Oracle, FCCS, and CPM to drive accurate reporting, lead variance analysis, and enhance accounting workflows.
Responsibilities as the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant:
- Month-End Close: Manage close activities for multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balance uploads.
- Global Consolidation & Reporting: Support consolidation processes and management representation to ensure timely, accurate financial data.
- Variance Analysis & Collaboration: Lead monthly variance analysis and partner with FP&A and Treasury to explain key P&L movements.
- Intercompany & Lease Accounting: Reconcile intercompany and loan balances and align lease entries with accounting standards and systems.
- Audit & Financial Disclosures: Assist with audit prep and support annual IFRS footnote disclosures.
Qualifications for the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- Experience: 3+ years in public accounting or corporate finance, with preferred experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
- Certification: CPA preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and Office, with preferred experience in ERP and reporting tools like Oracle, CPM, or FCCS.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of IFRS standards, consolidations, and multi-entity financial reporting in global environments.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently while driving team success.
