Job Overview – Senior Accountant:
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000/year + bonus
Location: Bucks County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Step into a key role as a Senior Accountant with our client in Bucks County, PA (Hybrid), driving month-end close, financial reporting, and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities. Ideal for professionals with US GAAP experience and a background in inventory, audits, and process improvement. Proficiency in Sage and Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is highly preferred.
Responsibilities as the Senior Accountant:
- Financial Reporting & Close: Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, journal entries, and reconciliations in compliance with US GAAP.
- Intercompany & Inventory: Manage intercompany billing and reconciliations, and lead inventory accounting and variance resolution.
- Cash Flow & FP&A: Support annual cash flow projections and assist with financial planning and analysis.
- Audit & Compliance: Provide audit support through documentation, schedules, and inquiry responses.
- Improvements & Projects: Contribute to system enhancements, workflow optimization, and ad hoc financial reporting.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional accounting experience, with exposure to month-end reporting, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations.
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills required (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), with experience in Sage preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and meet tight deadlines.
