Atlantic Group is hiring a Director of Accounting & Finance to join our client’s team in Wayne, NJ. This in-office leadership role is ideal for finance professionals with FP&A experience in healthcare services or the pharmaceutical industry. You’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, while utilizing Power BI and Tableau to drive data visualization, reporting, and strategic insights. This high-impact opportunity plays a critical role in improving financial performance, informing key decisions, and supporting long-term business growth.

Responsibilities as the Director of Accounting & Finance:

  • Financial Planning & Strategy: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A cycles, delivering strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Budgeting & Analysis: Manage budgeting processes and variance reporting to support data-informed decision-making.
  • Financial Modeling: Build models to evaluate service lines, partnerships, acquisitions, and capital investments.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs across revenue and expenses, identifying trends and variance drivers.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with department heads to align financial and operational goals.
  • Reporting & Tools: Utilize BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to streamline reporting and executive presentations.

Qualifications for the Director of Accounting & Finance:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (MBA highly preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of FP&A experience, with a strong background in healthcare services or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite with experience implementing business intelligence tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare or pharma financial structures and performance drivers.
  • Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates exceptional leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills with the ability to present financial data to executive stakeholders.
