Step into a leadership role with our client as the Director of Consulting (Investment Operations) in Philadelphia, PA. In this hybrid position, you will oversee multiple client consulting engagements, driving successful outcomes through effective project planning, process evaluation, and vendor management. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in investment operations and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to meet client goals.

Compensation: $145,000 – $175,000/year + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Director of Consulting (Investment Operations):

  • Client Leadership: Develop project plans, lead client and vendor meetings, and ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate team structures and processes, proposing and implementing changes to meet client goals.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee the selection, data migration, and implementation of technology or service providers.
  • Project Execution: Manage meeting notes, test plans, and success criteria to ensure timely and budget-compliant engagements.
  • Training and Documentation: Document processes, create business requirements, and train clients on new tools and workflows.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated on trends by engaging with technology vendors and service providers.

Qualifications for the Director of Consulting (Investment Operations):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Certification: CPA certification required.
  • Experience: 6-10 years of experience in investment operations, audit, or tax, with a strong background in alternative investments, including hedge funds and private equity.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills required, with familiarity in investment operations technology.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, project management, critical thinking, and leadership abilities, with integrity, professionalism, and the ability to excel in a small, entrepreneurial environment.
