Job Overview – Director of Finance (Healthcare):
Step into a pivotal role as Director of Finance with our healthcare client in Philadelphia, PA, leading accounting operations and strategic financial planning while managing a dedicated team. This in-office role combines accounting oversight with FP&A development to drive growth and profitability.
Compensation: $145,000 – $165,000/year + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Director of Finance:
- Operations: Oversee the full scope of accounting and finance functions, including month-end close, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), financial reporting, and analysis.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead FP&A initiatives, with a focus on dashboards, KPIs, SOX compliance, audit processes, and strategic analysis to support organizational growth.
- Leadership: Manage and develop a team of four, including AP, senior, and staff accountants, ensuring effective performance and collaboration.
- Billing Management: Take a lead role in managing AP and billing operations, with a specific focus on healthcare billing processes.
- Strategic Growth: Drive financial strategy to enhance profitability and support business expansion.
Qualifications for the Director of Finance:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Experience: 10+ years in Finance or Accounting required, with demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end accounting functions.
- Certification: CPA preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities and a strategic mindset (familiarity with healthcare billing preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with AKK EXCHANGE is a plus.
