Job Overview – Investor Relations Associate:
Join our client in New York, NY, as an Investor Relations Associate, supporting capital formation, investor engagement, and service initiatives. This in-office role requires strong organizational skills for managing investor queries, CRM updates, and cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth investor relations and reporting.
Compensation: $95,000 – $125,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Investor Relations Associate:
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of investment products, strategies, and fund terms to effectively engage with investors.
- Investor Management: Oversee the investor reporting inbox, managing daily inquiries and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate responses and issue resolution.
- Coordination: Work closely with administrators, legal counsel, and finance on capital activity, updating systems and records to reflect accurate account and investor information.
- CRM Management: Maintain the CRM (Deal Cloud), including contact updates, distribution lists, announcement postings, and capital activity tracking.
- Development: Collaborate with senior analysts to create marketing materials, investor reports, and presentation materials for investor meetings.
Qualifications for the Investor Relations Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business required.
- Experience: 1-3 years in Investor Relations or Client Services, preferably within a Private Equity Fund or Fund Administrator.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with DealCloud or similar Alternative Investment CRM systems is advantageous.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Private Equity concepts and capital activity processes.
