Job Overview – Financial Analyst (Hybrid):
Step into a pivotal role as a Financial Analyst with our client in Stamford, CT, supporting essential financial operations. In this hybrid position, you’ll develop comprehensive financial plans, conduct trend analyses, and manage reporting for a dynamic healthcare organization.
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000/year + bonus
Location: Stamford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Financial Analyst:
- Financial Reporting: Assist the FP&A Manager with monthly, annual, and multi-year planning, including budgets and forecasts for location-specific and total P&Ls.
- Operational Analysis: Conduct financial trend analysis, revenue cycle assessments, and analyze payor, rate, and volume metrics.
- Cash Management: Manage cashflows, prepare lender materials, and maintain compliance certificates.
- Data Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in finance and planning systems with an interest in IT aspects of Finance and Datawarehouse management.
Qualifications for the Financial Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance required (MBA highly preferred).
- Experience: 1-3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis required, ideally in healthcare.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, experience with Power BI, Power Pivots, and SAGE accounting systems is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong analytical, modeling, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
