Job Overview – Senior Associate / Associate Manager:
Step into a high-impact role as Senior Associate / Associate Manager with our client, available in major cities including Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and San Francisco. In this hybrid role, you’ll drive diverse financial projects, engaging in reporting, internal controls, corporate and fund accounting, M&A, and restructuring.
Compensation: $82,000 – $87,000/year + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and San Francisco
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Senior Associate / Associate Manager:
- Financial Support: Lead project-oriented finance and accounting initiatives, spanning corporate and fund accounting, M&A, divestitures, and restructuring efforts.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with firm leadership and peers to deliver high-value services.
- Financial Reporting: Conduct detailed financial analysis, ensure accuracy in reporting, and prepare audit-ready accounting reports.
- Compliance: Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, auditing standards, and regulatory compliance across varied industries.
- Strategic Advisory: Support clients with transaction analysis, including M&A, bankruptcy restructuring, and other key financial projects.
- Leadership: Contribute to business development, recruiting, and professional growth initiatives that align with firm and personal career goals.
Qualifications for the Senior Associate / Associate Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Experience: 3-5 years in Audit or Accounting required, including 1+ year as a Senior Auditor (Big 4 and SEC experience preferred).
- Certification: CPA certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, FASB standards, and Excel (including macros and pivot tables).
