Job Overview – Corporate Development Analyst:
Join our client as a Corporate Development Analyst in Fairfield County, CT, where you’ll support senior management in driving strategic initiatives, financial analysis, capital-raising activities, and managing a portfolio of investments. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth and strategic planning.
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000/year + bonus
Location: Fairfield County, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Corporate Development Analyst:
- Financial Reporting: Compile and analyze capital resource reports for external investors and internal stakeholders.
- Securitization: Assist in the execution of regular securitizations and manage existing bank facilities.
- Strategic Investments: Support the evaluation of prospective acquisitions through financial modeling and investment memo preparation.
- Portfolio Management: Work with portfolio companies to develop strategic and financial plans, and perform the requisite analytics to drive decision-making.
- KPI Analysis: Produce and analyze monthly key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strategic Planning: Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and preparing presentations for company partners and third parties.
Qualifications for the Corporate Development Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Business/Finance or related field preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience in financial analysis and strategy, including working with large data sets.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling skills in Microsoft Excel, and proficiency in creating presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform basic financial analysis.
