Job Overview – Senior Treasury Analyst (Hybrid):
Our trusted client is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst in New York, NY, to manage cash operations, forecasting, and treasury systems. In this hybrid role, you’ll ensure efficient daily operations and accurate financial reporting to support the company’s financial health.
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Senior Treasury Analyst:
- Cash Forecasting: Prepare daily cash forecasts and determine daily borrowing/paydown requirements.
- Account Monitoring: Monitor account balances and handle fundings as necessary.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile transactions within the Treasury Management System (Kyriba) and track/report bank fees and interest income.
- Process Automation: Lead the automation of cash forecasting in Kyriba and improve the forecasting process.
- Discrepancy Investigation: Investigate discrepancies between contracts, settlements, and financial reports.
- KPI Creation: Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for the Treasury function.
Qualifications for the Senior Treasury Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in a Corporate Treasury role, preferably with commodities exposure.
- Skills: Advanced Excel skills, experience with cash forecasting, and familiarity with KPIs and dashboards.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Kyriba TMS and preferred knowledge of Power BI or Alteryx.
- Communication: Strong documentation, problem-solving, and client service skills with a collaborative approach to internal and external partners.
