Step into the role of Vice President of Operations (Construction) with our client in Chester County, PA. This on-site leadership opportunity is perfect for a seasoned construction executive with expertise in demolition, environmental services, and asbestos removal. Oversee company operations, drive strategic growth, and lead high-impact projects while managing teams, budgets, and client relationships to ensure operational excellence.
Compensation: $150,000 – $250,000/year + bonus + vehicle allowance
Location: Chester County, PA
Responsibilities as the Vice President of Operations:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive operational strategies to enhance efficiency, profitability, and project execution.
- Project Oversight: Lead demolition, asbestos removal, and environmental construction projects while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, cost controls, and financial performance to maintain profitability.
- Business Growth: Strengthen client relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue expansion.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage Project Managers, Estimators, and field teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Regulatory Compliance & Process Optimization: Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and safety standards while implementing best practices and technology for efficiency.
Qualifications for the Vice President of Operations:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in construction operations management, with proven expertise in demolition, environmental services, and asbestos removal.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in construction management software (such as Procore, Bluebeam, or HeavyBid) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, financial acumen, and strategic problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of asbestos abatement, hazardous material handling, demolition regulations, and large-scale project execution.
