Atlantic Group is hiring a Training Coordinator in Austin, TX for our client, supporting training administration, departmental operations, and project coordination within the transportation industry. This temporary role will provide administrative support to leadership, manage scheduling and documentation, coordinate departmental projects, and ensure efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities as the Training Coordinator:

  • Administrative Support: Provide daily administrative assistance to department leadership, including correspondence, document preparation, and general office operations.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, organize schedules, and support departmental activities.
  • Project Coordination: Track project timelines, monitor deadlines, and ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative deliverables.
  • Records Management: Maintain organized departmental records, manage document retention, and ensure accurate filing and retrieval of information.
  • Document Processing: Review correspondence, reports, expense requests, and administrative documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Office Operations: Coordinate office supplies, vendor communications, and departmental resources to support efficient operations.

Qualifications for the Training Coordinator:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required, with an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of administrative, clerical, office coordination, or related experience is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with office administration, records management, document processing, and departmental coordination is required.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, email, calendar management, and general office software is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, time management, problem-solving, confidentiality, and ability to work independently and collaboratively are required.
