Job Overview – Temporary Administrative Assistant
Compensation: $20/hour
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Atlantic Group is hiring a Temporary Administrative Assistant in Montgomery County, PA for our client, supporting day-to-day administrative and office operations. In this part-time, temporary role, you will assist with scheduling, phone coverage, data entry, and document organization, including maintaining Excel spreadsheets and collating tax-related materials. You will play a key role in keeping office operations accurate, organized, and responsive throughout the tax season.
Responsibilities as the Temporary Administrative Assistant:
- Administrative & Office Support: Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, answering phones, and responding to routine inquiries.
- Data Entry & Spreadsheet Maintenance: Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets, ensuring accurate and organized data.
- Document Management: Input tax-related data and collate tax returns for internal review and recordkeeping.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Support calendar management and appointment scheduling to maintain efficient daily operations.
- Front Office & Communication Support: Serve as a professional point of contact for incoming calls and visitors, maintaining an organized front office environment.
Qualifications for the Temporary Administrative Assistant:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1+ years of administrative or office support experience required.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, with the ability to accurately update spreadsheets and enter data.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior exposure to tax, accounting, or professional services environments preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Reliable, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage routine tasks efficiently, and a positive, service-oriented mindset.
