Job Overview – Superintendents (Multi-Family)
Join our client's team as a Superintendent and take the lead in overseeing multifamily construction projects. Location: Dauphin County, PA – Onsite
Compensation: $80,000.00 – $150,000.00 + bonus

Responsibilities of the Superintendents (Multi-Family) Include:

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of multifamily construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, including coordinating subcontractors, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Implement quality control measures and inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure that construction activities meet or exceed client expectations and industry best practices.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and onsite personnel, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment focused on achieving project goals and objectives.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams, to provide updates on project progress, address issues, and resolve conflicts proactively.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges during the construction process, develop mitigation strategies, and take proactive measures to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned from previous projects, implementing best practices, and seeking opportunities to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications of the Superintendents (Multi-Family) Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 7+  years of experience in ground-up construction, with a focus on large multifamily apartment buildings, townhomes, or senior living facilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from conception to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning, with a passion for professional growth and development.
