Job Overview – Superintendent (SOE)
Join our client's team as a Superintendent and take charge of overseeing Excavation and Piling (SOE) operations in the vibrant landscape of NYC. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned professionals in construction management to lead high-profile projects, working closely with vendors and ensuring meticulous execution to achieve project success.
Compensation: $160,000.00 – $200,000.00 + bonus
Location: Queens, NY – Onsite
Responsibilities as the Superintendent (SOE) include:
- Excavation and Piling Operations Leadership: Lead excavation and piling operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety protocols.
- Deep Foundations Project Management: Oversee deep foundations projects, managing subcontractors, and coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Safety Regulation Enforcement: Maintain OSHA 62-hour certification and enforce safety regulations to promote a secure work environment for all personnel on-site.
- Project Logistics Management: Utilize organizational skills and attention to detail to manage project logistics, including material procurement, equipment deployment, and resource allocation.
- Construction Process Optimization: Collaborate with project teams to address challenges, resolve issues, and optimize construction processes for efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential risks or hazards, and implement corrective measures to mitigate safety concerns.
- Site Inspection and Risk Mitigation: Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications of the Superintendent (SOE) include:
- 8+ years of experience working as an Excavation and Piling Superintendent in NYC.
- Proficiency in managing deep foundations projects and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
- OSHA 62-hour certification required, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
