Job Overview – Site-Work Superintendent
Join our client's team as a Site-Work Superintendent and become an integral part of their construction projects in Philadelphia, PA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee site operations, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale projects.
Compensation: $80,000.00 – $130,000.00
Location: Philadelphia County, PA
Responsibilities of the Site-Work Superintendent Include:
- Oversee all aspects of site operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Lead and mentor on-site personnel, including assistant superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure workmanship and materials meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or deviations promptly.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and concerns effectively and proactively.
- Identify and resolve project-related challenges and obstacles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop creative solutions and mitigate project risks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
Qualifications of the Site-Work Superintendent Include:
- 5+ years of experience in site management or construction supervision, preferably in the refinery or heavy construction industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
