Job Overview – Service and Aftermarket Sales Manager:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Service and Aftermarket Sales Manager to drive sales of service and aftermarket products to both existing and new customers. This full-time role involves collaborating closely with the service department and the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets and enhance customer satisfaction!
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Compensation: $75,000 – $100,000/year + bonus
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Service and Aftermarket Sales Manager:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for service contracts, spare parts, and aftermarket solutions.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and target potential customers through prospecting and networking.
- Collaboration: Work with service and technical teams to understand product capabilities, service offerings, and customer requirements.
- Proposals and Negotiations: Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts, and negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.
- Sales Growth: Develop, implement, and drive service-related sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Client Interaction: Grow relationships with customers, including owners and end-users, and actively call on existing owners with in-person selling.
- Software Utilization: Use company-provided software to generate quotes and Salesforce to track assets, accounts, status, timelines, and existing service contracts.
Qualifications for the Service and Aftermarket Sales Manager:
- Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in aftermarket or service-related industries, with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical products and services, ideally with Commercial/Industrial hydronic and steam boilers, ventilation systems, and controls.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer Service and Relationships: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with an analytical mindset to identify trends and implement improvements.
- Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of OSHA and service safety requirements preferred.
