Job Overview – Senior Portfolio Compliance Associate:
Join a leading AUM Asset Management firm in Jersey City, and play a pivotal role in the global compliance team. Reporting to the Head of Investment Compliance, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the firm's success by ensuring investment portfolios adhere to guidelines, regulations, and restrictions.
Compensation: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 + bonus
Location: Jersey City
Responsibilities as the Senior Portfolio Compliance Associate include:
- Reviewing and interpreting investment guidelines, restrictions, and regulations
- Monitoring investment portfolios to ensure compliance with guidelines and restrictions
- Assisting with launching new products, encompassing traditional and alternative offerings
- Communicating with clients and internal stakeholders regarding compliance issues
- Conducting periodic compliance testing and reviews
- Staying up-to-date on regulatory changes impacting investment compliance
- Addressing conflicts and updating policies and procedures
Qualifications of the Senior Portfolio Compliance Associate include:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
- 7-12 years of experience in investment compliance or a related field
- Strong understanding of investment regulations and guidelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs
