Job Overview – Senior Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000/year + bonus
Location: Essex County, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager for our client in Essex County, MA, to oversee personal lines accounts, client relationships, and policy renewals. In this role, you’ll manage coverage inquiries, process endorsements, and provide claims support while delivering excellent service and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. A valid Property & Casualty license is required, making this an ideal role for experienced insurance professionals with retail agency backgrounds in auto, home, umbrella, and specialty lines.
Responsibilities as the Senior Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:
- Client Service & Communication: Respond to a high volume of client inquiries by phone and email with professionalism, accuracy, and care.
- Policy Administration: Process endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing inquiries in a timely and compliant manner.
- Quoting & Remarketing: Prepare new business quotes and remarket renewals to ensure competitive pricing and comprehensive coverage.
- Claims Support: Guide clients through the claims process, from initial filing to resolution, providing clear communication and updates.
- Account Retention & Cross-Selling: Identify client needs and recommend additional coverage options or upgrades to increase account value.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate client files, adhere to agency procedures, and ensure compliance with state regulations and carrier guidelines.
Qualifications for the Senior Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred.
- Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a retail insurance agency managing personal lines accounts, with experience in auto, home, umbrella, and specialty insurance strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with agency management systems (e.g., Epic, Applied), Microsoft Office Suite, and online carrier platforms.
- Skills & Attributes: Proficient in Massachusetts registry processes, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
