Compensation: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 + bonus
Location: Queens, NYC – Hybrid
Responsibilities as the Senior Human Resources Manager Include:
- Leadership: Plan, direct, and coordinate all HR policies and programs
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from attracting top talent to onboarding
- Performance Management: Establish performance evaluation processes and career development planning
- Culture and Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment, address concerns, and ensure policy consistency
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee talent retention programs while considering cost-effectiveness
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure HR functions comply with labor laws and industry trends
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Champion initiatives for an inclusive workplace
- Corrective Action: Administer corrective action processes
- Payroll and Time Off Policies: Oversee payroll and PTO policies, ensuring compliance
- Reward and Recognition: Design and administer employee recognition programs
Requirements for the Senior Human Resources Manager Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Human Resources certificate a plus
- Proven Human Resources leadership experience (minimum 3 years)
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Experience with HR documentation, such as employment contracts
- Track record of administering employee benefits (e.g., FMLA, COBRA)
- Proficiency in maintaining HR databases and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ADP
