Job Overview – Senior Civil Estimator Our client, a leading construction company that manages large-scale commercial and industrial projects, is seeking a Senior Civil Estimator to join their team. The Senior Civil Estimator will work out of their Orlando office on various projects across the company.
Compensation: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 + bonus

Responsibilities as the Senior Civil Estimator include:

- Analyze project plans and on-site conditions for accurate estimating.
- Detail cost estimates for civil components, utilizing industry-standard software for consistency.
- Collaborate on comprehensive bid proposals aligned with client needs, presenting and defending estimates.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relations, obtaining competitive quotes and fostering strong relationships.
- Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities in project estimates, providing mitigation recommendations.
- Prepare detailed documentation of estimates, assumptions, and generate reports for internal and client presentations.
Qualifications for the Senior Civil Estimator include:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in estimating for sizable commercial and industrial projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency in widely-used estimating software within the industry.
- Adept analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
