Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Benefits Analyst (Temporary) in Boston, MA for our client, supporting benefits administration, leave management, retirement plans, compliance reporting, and employee benefits programs within a dynamic corporate environment. This temporary leave coverage role will serve as a key resource for employees, managers, and HR teams while overseeing health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, leave programs, and regulatory compliance activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong benefits administration experience, analytical skills, and expertise managing complex employee benefit and leave programs.
Responsibilities as the Senior Benefits Analyst (Temporary):
- Benefits Administration: Oversee enrollment activities, eligibility reviews, audits, and ongoing administration of health and welfare benefit programs.
- Compliance & Reporting: Prepare regulatory filings, compliance reporting, benefits audits, testing, and related reporting requirements.
- Leave Management: Manage employee leave programs, disability administration, workplace accommodations, and compliance with applicable leave regulations.
- Benefits Reconciliation: Review benefit invoices, audit payroll deductions, reconcile vendor payments, and resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Retirement Plan Administration: Support 401(k) plan administration, annual testing, audits, company contributions, and vendor coordination activities.
- Employee Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for employee inquiries, benefits communications, policy interpretation, and program education initiatives.
Qualifications for the Senior Benefits Analyst (Temporary):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, leave management, retirement plans, or human resources operations is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of employee benefits, health and welfare programs, retirement plans, leave administration, and benefits compliance requirements is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with HRIS platforms, benefits administration systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and benefits reporting tools is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret complex data, and deliver a high level of employee support are required.
