Role Overview- Senior Azure Project Migration Specialist:
Our client, an IT services leader, is seeking a Senior Azure Migration Specialist to transition client environments and workloads onto Microsoft's Azure platform out of their New York City office. The ideal candidate will leverage deep Microsoft cloud experience to plan and execute complex migration initiatives, enabling enhanced efficiency, resiliency, and innovation.
Compensation: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00
Location: New York City
Responsibilities for the L4 Support role include:
• Planning and scoping Azure migrations assessing requirements
• Executing cloud readiness assessments
• Leading discovery, evaluation and translation of existing architectures
• Coordinating with infrastructure teams on landing zone buildouts
• Migrating servers, databases, applications natively onto platform
• Providing post-implementation support and optimizations
• Authoring technical recommendations and proposals
• Participating in presales consultations on cloud opportunities
Qualifications of the L4 Support role include:
• 5+ years of Azure architecture and migration experience
• Azure certifications such as AZ-900 or AZ-104
• Background as cloud architect or managed services provider
• Experience with Azure Migrate assessment and migration tools
• Strong technical writing and client-facing skills
• Passion for expanding cloud adoption
