Job Overview – Records Coordinator (Data Entry & Compliance):

Atlantic Group is hiring a Records Coordinator (Data Entry & Compliance) in Tampa, FL (Remote – Must Be Local) with our client. This role supports compliance and data management by maintaining records, tracking files, and assisting with compliance initiatives. You will work with storage vendors, manage PHI requests, enter data in PHIT and SharePoint, and ensure accurate documentation for audits and reporting. Ideal candidates bring strong organizational skills, Microsoft Office expertise, and experience in compliance or data entry.
Responsibilities as the Records Coordinator:
- Records Management: Maintain and organize departmental records, contracts, and files while receiving and logging boxes for storage.
- Compliance Oversight: Serve as Subject Matter Expert for PHI requests, PHIT database entry, and privacy-related audits and monitoring.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with long-term storage vendors to support accurate and timely recordkeeping.
- Compliance Support: Track annual compliance requirements, document employee completion, and assist in related initiatives.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Process test orders, custom requisitions, and compliance documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications for the Records Coordinator:
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in records coordination, compliance, or data entry required, with a background in healthcare, life sciences, or professional services strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with experience in SharePoint and database entry systems such as PHIT strongly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of PHI handling, privacy requirements, and compliance protocols.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with effective written and verbal communication and a customer service orientation.
