Job Overview – Project Manager (Temporary):
Join our client as a Project Manager in Stamford, CT. In this hybrid role, you will oversee the delivery of regulatory and rule-mapping projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective stakeholder engagement. You will manage the project lifecycle, mitigate risks, and drive activities to prepare the business for change, all while adhering to governance frameworks and budget requirements.

Compensation: $500 – $640/day
Location: Stamford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Project Manager (Temporary):

  • Project Delivery: Own and drive project outcomes, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies to maintain progress and deliver results.
  • Planning and Monitoring: Lead the production of project milestones and ensure deliverables meet requirements and governance standards.
  • Business Case Development: Analyze statements, prepare estimates, and drive the creation of financial business cases for project approval.
  • Budget Oversight: Track and report project costs, ensuring completion within allocated budgets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships across multiple franchises and functions, effectively engaging stakeholders to enable seamless change implementation.

Qualifications for the Project Manager (Temporary):

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field required (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: At least 5 years in investment banking and project management, with a proven history of delivering regulatory projects and managing end-to-end lifecycles.
  • Skills: Strong project delivery acumen with excellent detail orientation, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, with expertise in regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Attributes: Hard-working, positive, and adaptable, with enthusiasm for solving complex problems and driving successful outcomes.
