Job Overview – Project Manager (Construction):
 Are you are passionate about construction management and have experience in MEP projects? Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join their construction team in Montgomery County, PA. This pivotal role involves managing large, complex construction projects, mentoring others, and ensuring safety.

Location: Montgomery County, PA
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000/year + bonus

Responsibilities as the Project Manager (Construction):

  • Project Support: Provide support to a single large project or multiple projects managed by Senior Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Self-Performing Work: Collaborate with craftsman, foreman, and the owner to manage self-performing work.
  • Project Planning: Plan projects from start to finish, understanding all moving parts and managing the process.
  • LEAN Principles: Utilize LEAN principles to meet the owner’s needs and deliver quality projects.
  • Financial Management: Manage project financials to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and nurture customer relationships beyond a single project.
  • Mentorship: Mentor early-career professionals and prepare them for career advancement.

Qualifications for the Project Manager (Construction):

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience: 7-10+ years managing multiple MEP projects, with additional experience in process piping, Design/Build, and IPD projects being a plus.
  • Knowledge: Expertise in building systems, HVAC, mechanical, and process piping, including design and construction.
  • Mechanical Construction Experience: Extensive experience managing mechanical construction projects for a mechanical company.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with business acumen and integrity; ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
