Lead large-scale commercial projects from planning through completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities as the Project Manager (Commercial Construction):

  • Project Oversight: Manage commercial construction projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Budget & Scheduling: Develop project budgets, monitor costs, and maintain project timelines.
  • Team Management: Lead subcontractors, field staff, and project engineers to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates and addressing project needs.
  • Contract Administration: Negotiate contracts, review change orders, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety standards and ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications for the Project Manager (Commercial Construction):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of project management experience in commercial construction required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, contracts, and building codes.
  • Skills & Attributes: Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
