Job Overview – Project Coordinator (Construction)
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000/year
Location: York County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Project Coordinator (Construction) in York County, PA for our client, supporting project coordination, scheduling, drafting activities, and customer communication within a construction and manufacturing environment. This role will partner with customers, contractors, and internal teams to support project execution, maintain project documentation, and ensure timelines and deliverables are met. The ideal candidate will bring experience reviewing construction drawings, coordinating project activities, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities as the Project Coordinator:
- Project Coordination: Coordinate project documentation, drawings, schedules, and related activities to support successful project execution.
- Project Scheduling: Manage project timelines to align customer requirements with production, fabrication, and delivery schedules.
- Customer & Contractor Coordination: Communicate with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders to address questions, resolve issues, and support project progress.
- Compliance Support: Assist with project documentation, material certifications, and compliance requirements associated with construction and infrastructure projects.
- Project Administration: Coordinate project information between customers, contractors, and internal teams while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor project milestones, maintain project correspondence, and support timely project completion.
Qualifications for the Project Coordinator:
- Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in rebar detailing, project coordination, construction materials, or a related construction industry role is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction drawings, project documentation, fabrication processes, and infrastructure projects is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with drafting software, construction drawings, and project documentation is required. Familiarity with public infrastructure or transportation projects is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, organization, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
