Position Overview – Entry Level | Production Engineering:
Join our client’s financial services company as an entry-level production engineer. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with global teams in a business-critical environment.
Start Date: ASAP (likely January, post-holidays)
Compensation: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 + bonus
Location: Boca Raton, Florida – Onsite
Responsibilities as the Production Engineer include:
- Monitoring and providing first-line support for the technical stack
- Investigating and escalating issues, collaborating with development and trading teams
- Handling initial investigations for business and clients with a proactive and logical approach
- Conducting first-line investigations of connectivity failures to ensure a stable trading environment
- Onboarding, setting up, and testing new client integrations
- Participating in on-call support during working hours, with occasional weekend support
Requirements for the Production Engineer include:
- Bachelor's Degree or STEM background, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 1-2 years of experience, ideally in a client-facing support role for a technology product
- Basic understanding of network architectures and protocols, with a keen interest in technology
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a changing financial environment
- Exposure to finance, particularly FX, through study or professional experience is beneficial
