Atlantic Group is hiring a Procurement Manager in Boston, MA for our client, supporting strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement operations across indirect spend areas. This hybrid role partners with internal stakeholders and leadership to manage vendor relationships, lead sourcing initiatives, and oversee contract negotiations. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities as the Procurement Manager:

  • Category Management: Lead procurement activities across assigned indirect spend categories, including sourcing, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate vendor contracts in partnership with internal teams to ensure favorable terms and compliance.
  • Sourcing and RFPs: Execute sourcing initiatives and support RFP processes from requirements gathering through vendor selection.
  • ERP and Process Management: Maintain procurement data within ERP systems and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and leadership to align procurement strategies with business needs.
  • Procurement Operations: Support purchase order processes, vendor onboarding, and ongoing procurement initiatives.

Qualifications for the Procurement Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in financial services or a similar environment is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong negotiation, communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
