Job Overview – Plumbing Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager
Join our client's esteemed team as a Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager and contribute to their success in the plumbing industry. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong plumbing and MEP experience to make a significant impact and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $80,000.00 – $140,000.00 + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities as the Plumbing Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager include:

  • Manage and oversee plumbing projects for various clients, including general contractors, construction managers, developers, and owners.
  • Ensure project success by effectively coordinating resources, schedules, and activities to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining open communication and addressing concerns or issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project-related paperwork.
  • Proactively identify potential risks or obstacles and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges and achieve project goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to plumbing and construction management.

Qualifications of the Plumbing Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager include:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the plumbing industry, preferably in a project management role.
  • Experience working with general contractors or construction managers is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems and construction processes.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think outside the box and drive innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
