Job Overview – Plumbing Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager

Compensation: $80,000.00 – $140,000.00 + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities as the Plumbing Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager include:
- Manage and oversee plumbing projects for various clients, including general contractors, construction managers, developers, and owners.
- Ensure project success by effectively coordinating resources, schedules, and activities to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining open communication and addressing concerns or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project-related paperwork.
- Proactively identify potential risks or obstacles and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges and achieve project goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to plumbing and construction management.
Qualifications of the Plumbing Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager include:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the plumbing industry, preferably in a project management role.
- Experience working with general contractors or construction managers is essential.
- Strong knowledge of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems and construction processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think outside the box and drive innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
