Job Overview – Phlebotomist Associate:
Join our client in Greenville, SC, as a Phlebotomist Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples with precision, ensuring patient comfort while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule.
Compensation: $19 – $21/hour
Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (20 Hours/Week)
Responsibilities as the Phlebotomist Associate:
- Specimen Collection: Accurately perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections following established protocols.
- Patient Interaction: Create a welcoming and confident environment while drawing blood and clearly explaining procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain precise documentation and adhere to procedural guidelines.
- Daily Operations: Efficiently manage daily tasks under the direction of the area supervisor.
Qualifications for the Phlebotomist Associate:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 3+ years of Phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections (2 years in a Patient Service Center preferred).
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Keyboarding and data entry skills required.
- Location Requirement: Must reside within a 20-25 minute commute for flexible coverage.
