Job Overview – Patent Litigation Paralegal
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Washington, DC 
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Patent Litigation Paralegal in Washington, DC for our client, supporting patent litigation, case management, and trial preparation within a growing legal environment. This role manages all phases of litigation, including discovery, court filings, and trial support, while working closely with attorneys and case teams. The position offers strong exposure to high-stakes matters and the opportunity to contribute to multiple upcoming trials.

Responsibilities as the Patent Litigation Paralegal:

  • Case Management: Manage patent litigation matters from inception through trial while tracking deadlines and deliverables.
  • Discovery Support: Assist with document review, production, and discovery using e-discovery platforms.
  • Legal Drafting: Prepare and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and court filings.
  • Trial Preparation: Support trial teams with exhibits, witness materials, and logistics.
  • Court Filings: Manage electronic filings and ensure compliance with federal and state court procedures.

Qualifications for the Patent Litigation Paralegal:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is required, with a paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years of patent litigation experience is required, including federal court filings and direct trial experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of intellectual property litigation, patent terminology, and court procedures is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research tools, e-filing systems, and e-discovery platforms is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
