Atlantic Group is hiring a Paralegal in Chester County, PA for our client, providing legal and administrative support within an established law firm. This role will assist attorneys with case management, legal documents, filings, research, correspondence, deadlines, and other day-to-day legal matters. The ideal candidate has previous law firm or paralegal experience with strong legal writing, organization, communication, and document management skills.

Responsibilities as the Paralegal:

  • Legal Documentation: Draft, format, proofread, and organize pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents.
  • Court Filings: Manage state and federal electronic filings while tracking court requirements, procedural rules, and critical deadlines.
  • Discovery Management: Coordinate document production, organize exhibits, maintain discovery materials, and support electronic discovery workflows.
  • Case Management: Maintain physical and electronic case files, monitor calendars and deadlines, and coordinate depositions, hearings, and other case activities.
  • Trial Preparation: Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness materials, and supporting documentation while assisting attorneys throughout trial preparation.
  • Client Coordination: Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and other parties while providing ongoing administrative and case support.

Qualifications for the Paralegal:

  • Education: Paralegal certificate, degree, or equivalent legal education is required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of paralegal, legal support, or related law firm experience is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of legal procedures, case management, document preparation, and law firm operations is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal case management systems, document management software, and electronic filing tools is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong legal writing, organization, communication, attention to detail, deadline management, and ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
