Job Overview – Oracle Payroll Systems Analyst (Remote):
Compensation: $70/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Remote)
Support payroll technology initiatives as an Oracle Payroll Systems Analyst with our client in a fully remote role. You will manage payroll elements in Oracle HCM Cloud, including Time and Labor (OTL), earnings, and costing, while overseeing HDL files, UAT, and migration tasks. This role partners with Payroll Systems, Technology, and HRIT teams to ensure accurate processing and compliance. Ideal candidates have hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud payroll experience and advanced payroll systems expertise.
Responsibilities as the Oracle Payroll Systems Analyst:
- Payroll Configuration: Develop, configure, and migrate Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) payroll elements, earnings, and related processes.
- Testing & Validation: Create test scripts, conduct UAT, validate calculations, remediate defects, and review HCM Data Loader (HDL) files for accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work with Payroll Systems, Technology, and HRIT teams to ensure proper payroll setup and ongoing support.
- Migration & Compliance: Prepare documentation, update migration files, move elements into production, and ensure compliance standards are met.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement payroll system enhancements while tracking updates and tasks through Smartsheet and SharePoint.
Qualifications for the Oracle Payroll Systems Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of payroll, HR technology, or time and labor systems experience, including direct work with Oracle HCM Cloud payroll and time & labor modules.
- Certification: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Oracle HCM Cloud (payroll and OTL), HDL files, Smartsheet, and SharePoint, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll processes, costing, compliance requirements, and system testing methodologies.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and project management skills with excellent communication, organizational abilities, and a solutions-oriented, customer-focused mindset.
