Lead marketing data strategy and analytics as a Marketing Analytics & Database Manager with our client in Boston, MA (Hybrid). Oversee database marketing, customer analytics, and CRM system infrastructure to drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth. Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing data governance, integration, and advanced analytics, partnering with IT and cross-functional teams to deliver a future-focused data roadmap and leverage big data tools such as Snowflake and Databricks to maximize marketing performance.

Responsibilities as the Marketing Analytics & Database Manager:

  • Database Marketing Leadership: Serve as SME for customer database marketing, overseeing toolsets, governance, identity resolution, and infrastructure development.
  • Strategic Roadmap & CRM Oversight: Partner with IT to execute the customer database roadmap, lead CRM strategy, design, architecture, and business rules to support campaigns.
  • Analytics-Driven Marketing: Build data and reporting infrastructure for customer analytics, campaign tracking, predictive modeling, and churn reduction.
  • Data Integration: Integrate offline and online behavioral data to deepen insight into the customer journey and enable advanced segmentation.
  • Data Governance & Compliance: Define rules for privacy, security, sharing, and reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Emerging Data & Innovation: Identify new data sources, expand behavioral insights, and champion analytics and automation to guide marketing and business decisions.

Qualifications for the Marketing Analytics & Database Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 10+ years in database marketing and analytics, including 5+ years leading and developing high-performing analyst teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience in big data extraction, manipulation, and governance, ideally within a cloud-enabled environment such as Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in consumer behavior analytics, multi-channel data integration, and predictive modeling to improve engagement and ROI.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at presenting complex concepts in a clear, actionable manner.
