Job Overview – Maintenance Supervisor
Join our client's team as a Maintenance Supervisor and take charge of ensuring operational excellence in maintenance activities. With a hands-on leadership approach, you'll be responsible for leading a team of technicians and driving the efficient operation of our client's facilities.
Compensation: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00
Location: Philadelphia County, PA – Onsite
Responsibilities as the Maintenance Supervisor include:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, providing hands-on support as needed.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to meet operational requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs and maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory.
Qualifications of the Maintenance Supervisor include:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
