Job Overview – Maintenance Assistant:
Step into a temporary role as a Maintenance Assistant with our manufacturing client in Horsham Township, PA, where you'll manage equipment upkeep, facility maintenance, and emergency response to support smooth and efficient production operations.
Compensation: $22 – $26/hour
Location: Horsham Township, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-Hour Shifts (On-Site)
Responsibilities as the Maintenance Assistant:
- Equipment Maintenance: Support routine preventive maintenance on machinery and facilities, including interpreting schematics and manuals.
- Repairs: Conduct repairs and improvements on equipment and facility areas, including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and ventilation work.
- Emergency Response: Act promptly to minimize downtime, helping to diagnose and resolve equipment and facility issues.
- Collaboration: Work with department leaders to uphold safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Compliance: Maintain ISO, OSHA, and safety standards through consistent practices and good housekeeping.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Assistant:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-3 years in maintenance, facilities, or a related hands-on role.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical operations and repairs.
- Physical Requirements: Able to climb, lift, bend, reach, and stand for long periods in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
