Job Overview – IT Support Associate (Temporary)
Compensation: $35 – $45/hour (Dependent on Experience)
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring an IT Support Associate (Temporary) in New York, NY for our client, supporting end-user technology, help desk operations, and IT infrastructure across a professional services environment. In this temporary role, you will provide hands-on technical support, manage onboarding and offboarding processes, and ensure seamless operation of hardware, software, and collaboration tools. You will utilize systems such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, JAMF, Intune, and ticketing platforms to support users across Windows and macOS environments.
Responsibilities as the IT Support Associate:
- Help Desk Support: Respond to and resolve help desk tickets while maintaining accurate updates in the ticketing system.
- End-User Support: Provide deskside and remote support across Windows and macOS environments, including hardware, software, VPN, and printers.
- Device Setup & Deployment: Configure and deploy laptops and desktops, including macOS (JAMF) and Windows systems.
- Microsoft 365 & Access Management: Administer Microsoft 365 and user access, including provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Onboarding & Asset Management: Support onboarding and offboarding while managing IT inventory and coordinating hardware repairs.
Qualifications for the IT Support Associate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 2–10 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or end-user support within a professional services or corporate environment is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT support processes, endpoint management, and SaaS application lifecycle management is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, JAMF, Windows 10/11, macOS, and ticketing systems is required, along with familiarity with AV and video conferencing tools.
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users effectively.
