Job Overview – Investment Performance Analyst (GIPS)
Compensation: $60 – $75/hour (Dependent on Experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Performance Analyst (GIPS) in New York, NY for our client, supporting performance reporting, composite management, and GIPS compliance. In this temporary role, you will enhance composite structures, improve data accuracy, and ensure consistent application of GIPS standards while partnering with investment and operations teams.
Responsibilities as the Investment Performance Analyst (GIPS):
- Composite Review: Evaluate composite structures, including definitions, inclusion criteria, and portfolio assignments.
- Composite Optimization: Identify and consolidate overlapping or redundant composites to improve structure and clarity.
- Performance Validation: Review and validate performance calculations, resolving discrepancies and ensuring consistency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with portfolio managers and product teams to align composites with investment strategies.
- GIPS Compliance: Maintain and enhance GIPS policies, documentation, and controls to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications for the Investment Performance Analyst (GIPS):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in investment performance reporting and GIPS compliance within asset management.
- Industry Knowledge: Possesses deep understanding of GIPS standards and composite management practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in performance reporting systems and tools such as StatPro or similar platforms, with strong Excel skills.
- Skills & Attributes: Exhibits strong communication, organization, and project management skills with the ability to work independently across multiple initiatives.
- Certification: CIPM designation is preferred.
