Job Overview – Insurance Account Manager (Commercial Lines)
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000/year + bonus
Location: Mercer County, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Mercer County, NJ for our client, supporting commercial property and casualty account management, client servicing, and policy administration within an insurance brokerage. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, oversee renewals and policy servicing, and serve as a key point of contact for clients and carriers while utilizing EPIC and Microsoft Office to manage workflows and maintain accurate documentation.
Responsibilities as the Insurance Account Manager (Commercial Lines):
- Client Account Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for client service needs and coverage guidance.
- Policy Servicing & Renewals: Oversee renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy updates while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Carrier & Client Coordination: Communicate with insurance carriers and clients to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve service-related issues.
- Coverage Analysis & Recommendations: Review insurance programs to identify coverage gaps and recommend solutions aligned with client needs.
- Documentation & System Management: Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation within agency management systems such as EPIC.
Qualifications for the Insurance Account Manager (Commercial Lines):
- Experience: 3+ years of experience managing commercial lines property and casualty accounts within an insurance agency or brokerage.
- Licensure: Active Property and Casualty insurance license is preferred.
- Certification: ACSR, CISR, or CIC designation is preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages, underwriting practices, and policy servicing processes is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience using agency management systems such as EPIC along with proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong client relationship management, communication, and analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
