Job Overview – HR Coordinator (Temporary):
Compensation: $40 – $75/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring an HR Coordinator (Temporary) in New York, NY for our client. In this hybrid role, you will coordinate logistics for learning, development, and HR programs, manage scheduling and communications, and support seamless delivery of in-person and virtual sessions. You will also engage with stakeholders, track participation data, gather feedback, and assist with continuous improvement of HR and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities as the HR Coordinator:

  • Program Coordination: Manage end-to-end logistics for learning, development, and HR programs, including scheduling, setup, virtual support, and participant communications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support training, development, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Communications Support: Draft and distribute clear, timely program communications and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting: Maintain attendance records, track engagement metrics, gather feedback, and support analysis to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Event Execution: Coordinate in-person and virtual event logistics and ensure a seamless experience from planning through post-event follow-up.

Qualifications for the HR Coordinator:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in HR, learning and development, event coordination, or project coordination within a corporate or fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new HR or event management systems quickly.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of HR processes, program coordination, event operations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Skills & Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities confidentially.
