Atlantic Group is hiring an HR Associate (Talent Acquisition) in New York, NY for our client, supporting high-volume recruiting, onboarding coordination, and candidate pipeline management. In this temporary role, you will source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support full-cycle recruiting while maintaining accurate hiring data in ATS and HR systems. You will also partner with hiring managers to manage job postings, candidate pipelines, onboarding workflows, and recruitment reporting using tools such as ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities as the HR Associate (Talent Acquisition):

  • Candidate Sourcing & Recruiting: Source candidates through job boards, social media, career fairs, and workforce programs while building pipelines for entry-level and operational roles.
  • Recruiting Coordination: Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, post roles, coordinate interviews, and communicate hiring updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Candidate Screening & Interviews: Screen candidates, conduct interviews, coordinate reference checks, and support hiring decisions for open roles.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist with onboarding activities including documentation, background checks, and new hire processes to ensure a smooth start for employees.
  • Recruitment Data & Compliance: Maintain candidate databases, recruiting trackers, and employee records while ensuring hiring documentation meets organizational and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for the HR Associate (Talent Acquisition):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience supporting talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or HR operations within a professional services, nonprofit, or corporate environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with recruitment processes, employment compliance standards, and equal opportunity hiring practices is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required, and experience using HRIS or ATS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume recruiting workflows and maintain confidentiality.
