Atlantic Group is hiring a Healthcare Provider Contract Specialist (Temporary) in Bronx, NY for our client. This temp-to-perm role supports provider contracting, onboarding, and compliance across a diverse healthcare network. You’ll develop and manage provider agreements, maintain contract documentation, and ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals with provider contracting, managed care, and Medicare/Medicaid experience.

Responsibilities as the Healthcare Provider Contract Specialist:

  • Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and manage provider contracts with physicians, hospitals, and ancillary partners.
  • Provider Onboarding: Oversee onboarding and credentialing processes, maintaining data accuracy in systems such as Care Compass and PORF.
  • Compliance & Monitoring: Ensure contract compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and organizational policies.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor provider performance and contract terms to meet quality and financial objectives.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of contracts, renewals, and amendments within the management system.

Qualifications for the Healthcare Provider Contract Specialist:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in provider contracting, managed care, or healthcare administration, with preferred experience in vendor or provider agreements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn contract management and data tracking software quickly.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, healthcare compliance standards, and managed care operations.
  • Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and organized professional with strong communication skills, able to manage sensitive information and ensure compliance.
