Role Overview – Financial Systems Analyst:
Our client, a leading advisor empowering public sector organizations, is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support and optimize their recently implemented Workday platform. Fully remote, the ideal candidate will configure ledgers, create accounts, support system upgrades, resolve user issues, and identify automation. and promote operational excellence through a platform relied upon by thousands to coordinate data and workflows, advancing agency missions nationwide effectively.
Compensation: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 + bonus
Location: Remote (Office in Boston)
Responsibilities for the Financial Systems Analyst include:
• Setting up new general ledger accounts and hierarchies
• Maintaining ledger account summaries and translations
• Creating journal entry initiation and approval templates
• Troubleshooting ledger transaction posting errors
• Performing system regression testing after upgrades
• Documenting issues, defect causes and resolutions
• Training users on accessing financial information
Qualifications of the Financial Systems Analyst include:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3-5 years supporting Workday Financials
• Workday certification or progress towards ideal
• Excellent written communication abilities
• Fundamental accounting knowledge with system intuition
